While Munching on Pistachios

Shifting through all that news on Yahoo! about stock plunging again (see? 700b no use.), the new GOOGLE G1 which isn't available in SG yet, I was delighted to read this..

NUS researchers create antibody that may eradicate viral diseases

*applauds!!* We're talking about viral diseases like HIV. A possible cure thanks to the brilliant team right here on our island!

Eventhough some of 'em probably deserve it, but there're many innocent victims of HIV out there who needs help and I just hope the cure's accessible to 'em when they're ready, if ever.

Having an effing headache right now, it's like the more pistachios I eat, the higher the pain. Blah. It's shocking to say this but I hate the holidays. Man. I want to go to school & learn baking. There's the Times Warehouse Members Only sale today at EXPO which I'd planned to go, check out some culinary books but heck, I haven't got any money left (thanks to Cook's Illustrated) so what's the point right?

Becoming so bloody lazy.. This is my sleeping regime/day:

2am - 11.30am / 2pm - 4.30pm

Looks like some opening hours for a seriously screwed up restaurant eh?

I'm 'unconscious' 12 hours a day, which is half a day but not today, not right now, so maybe the headache..brain screaming for that habitual very unneccesary sleep.

Yesterday, Caleb & I was chilling at Coffee Club at T3 and we started discussing about living the America because it's sucha exciting place (full of screw ups but exciting nonetheless) and we get to vote man! So I googled "Best places to live in America" and came across this page "Best Places to Live in Rural America 2008" which is perfect.

We settled on the Madison County in New York since it has pretty stats and VERY LOW crime rates 19 compared to the average 56 per year from the top 500 counties.

I kinda wonder if we'd ever get there since being Asians, it's a lil tough so I wiki-ed and shyt, it IS tough. This is their racial make-up:

96.49% White
1.32% African American
0.52% Native American
0.56% Asian
0.01% Pacific Islander
0.26% from other races
0.84% from two or more races.

Which means there're less than 500 Asians out of a population of 69441.
And being 1713km2, it's almost 2 & a half times bigger than Singapore! (yet population in SG is 69 times that of M.C.! We're overcrowded.)

Let's become another statistic (in a nice way) !

Or we should just do more research, ask more people who really knows and pray about it.

Why bother now? It's 3 years away.

Oh heck, I hate PMS.

21st Day of October

- Got my first ever issue of Cook's Illustrated straight from the U.S. for free!
- Ordered Cook's Illustrated 2008/2007 Hardbound Annuals which isn't for free (cost me a bomb actually but they're worth it)

And.. I finally got my car back, good as new! Still kinda hesistant about driving it...... but guess I'll take it for a spin to T3, get to read my C.I. mag at the same time, or else I'll never get started (both behind the wheels and on the mag)

Oh, made matcha roll cake today. Shyt, I don't know if it's me or the recipe 'cause it's kinda disappointing, I followed all the instructions...

11.10pm

Back from the spin, I didn't expect myself to be that scared. =( There was this point where I wanted to switch lanes to the left & this car just came outta nowhere at about 150km/h into my lane from the LEFT & zoomed away in less than 1 second. Thank God I stopped in time.. am so freaked out.. what the hell is wrong with these people?

..but I had a nice time reading the C.I. and learning stuff at Coffee Bean.

Best Friends

nala, doggie, biscuits, cute

We caught Made of Honor again because it's so amazing. Lucky (by Jason Mraz & Colbie Caillat) and Made of Honor would go so well together if they weren't produced at different times.

Who doesn't wanna fall in love with their (opposite sex) best friend!?

And I found the soundtrack! =D
